Job Summary
A Land Survey Engineer is responsible for measuring, mapping, and analyzing land areas to support construction, infrastructure, engineering, and development projects. The role involves conducting field surveys, preparing maps and reports, verifying site boundaries, and ensuring accurate data collection for project planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land and topographic surveys using surveying equipment
- Measure distances, elevations, boundaries, and site coordinates
- Prepare survey maps, drawings, and technical reports
- Analyze survey data and ensure accuracy of measurements
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project teams
- Establish control points and site reference markers
- Monitor construction layouts and site alignment activities
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and land survey standards
- Use GPS, GIS, and digital surveying technologies for mapping
- Maintain survey records, documentation, and project data
- Support quantity calculations and site development planning
