Job Title: Chef De Cuisine
Job Summary:
The Chef De Cuisine is responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising culinary staff, and ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes according to company standards. The role requires strong leadership, creativity, and expertise in food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including chefs and cooks
- Ensure food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency
- Develop menus and introduce new dishes as required
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and kitchen supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques and procedures
- Coordinate with catering and service teams for smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Handle customer feedback and ensure high guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef De Cuisine or senior chef role
- Strong knowledge of international and regional cuisines
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment
- Good communication and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
- GCC/UAE hospitality or catering experience preferred
- Creative menu planning and cost-control skills
