Job Title: Waiter / Waitress
Job Summary:
A Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a professional dining experience. The role includes taking orders, serving meals, and assisting guests courteously and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and present menus
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve food and drinks in a professional manner
- Ensure tables are clean and properly arranged
- Respond promptly to customer requests and inquiries
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Handle guest complaints politely and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
- Process bills and payments when required
- Follow company service standards and grooming policies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or catering service preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Basic English communication skills required; additional languages are an advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GCC/UAE hospitality experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
