Barista – Job Description
A Barista in Hospitality Management is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service in a café or restaurant.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee and espresso-based drinks
- Serve beverages and light food items to customers
- Operate coffee machines and café equipment
- Maintain beverage quality and presentation standards
- Take customer orders and handle payments
- Keep the café area clean and organized
- Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies
- Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
- Assist customers with menu recommendations
- Ensure friendly and professional customer service
