Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Global Head of IT to lead and oversee the organization's global IT operations. This role is execution-focused and responsible for managing the overall IT function, ensuring reliable technology services, infrastructure stability, application performance, cybersecurity compliance, and digital transformation initiatives across multiple regions.

The successful candidate will be a strong IT generalist with broad expertise across infrastructure, enterprise applications, ERP environments, vendor management, and IT operations. The role requires a practical leader who can build and scale IT functions while working effectively within lean organizational structures.

Key Responsibilities

IT Leadership & Strategy

✅ Develop and execute the global IT strategy aligned with business objectives.

✅ Lead and manage the overall IT function across multiple locations and regions.

✅ Ensure IT systems, infrastructure, and applications support operational and business requirements.

✅ Establish IT policies, standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

✅ Drive continuous improvement and technology modernization initiatives.

Infrastructure & Operations Management

✅ Oversee global IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, storage systems, and end-user computing.

✅ Ensure high system availability, performance, reliability, and scalability.

✅ Manage disaster recovery, backup solutions, and business continuity planning.

✅ Monitor IT service delivery and maintain operational excellence.

✅ Ensure proactive monitoring and resolution of technical issues.

Enterprise Applications & ERP Management

✅ Oversee ERP, CRM, HRMS, and other business-critical enterprise applications.

✅ Manage application lifecycle, upgrades, integrations, and system enhancements.

✅ Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize business processes through technology solutions.

✅ Ensure application performance, security, and user satisfaction.

Vendor & Technology Partner Management

✅ Manage relationships with external technology vendors, service providers, and consultants.

✅ Negotiate contracts, licensing agreements, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

✅ Evaluate and select technology solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency.

✅ Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery of agreed services.

Global IT Coordination

✅ Coordinate IT operations and initiatives across multiple countries and business units.

✅ Ensure consistency in IT standards, processes, and governance globally.

✅ Support regional teams with technical guidance, resources, and strategic direction.

✅ Manage cross-functional and cross-regional technology projects.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

✅ Ensure implementation of cybersecurity controls, policies, and best practices.

✅ Oversee risk management, vulnerability assessments, and compliance initiatives.

✅ Protect organizational systems, applications, and data from security threats.

✅ Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Team Leadership

✅ Lead, mentor, and develop IT teams across various disciplines.

✅ Manage infrastructure, applications, ERP, cybersecurity, and support functions through internal teams and external partners.

✅ Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

✅ Build and scale IT capabilities to support organizational growth.

Qualifications

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

✔ Master's Degree in Technology Management, Information Systems, or Business Administration is preferred.

✔ Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, AWS, Azure, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, or similar are advantageous.

Experience Requirements

✔ Minimum 10–15 years of progressive IT leadership experience.

✔ Proven experience leading enterprise IT functions in a multi-site or multinational environment.
