Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist (Second-in-Command) to support the Head of IT in managing and developing the organization's technology infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will act as the key support to the Head of IT and will take ownership of one or more specialized IT domains, including Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Management, and Enterprise Applications/ERP Systems.

This role requires a proactive professional capable of driving IT projects, improving operational efficiency, ensuring system security, and supporting business growth through technology innovation.

Key Responsibilities

IT Leadership & Support

✅ Act as the second-in-command to the Head of IT and support strategic IT initiatives.

✅ Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT roadmap.

✅ Lead IT projects and coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.

✅ Ensure business continuity and high availability of critical IT systems.

✅ Support digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives.

Data & Analytics (If Assigned)

✅ Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reporting systems.

✅ Analyze business data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.

✅ Manage data governance, data quality, and reporting processes.

✅ Support AI, automation, and advanced analytics initiatives.

✅ Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.

Cybersecurity (If Assigned)

✅ Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.

✅ Monitor networks, systems, and applications for security threats and vulnerabilities.

✅ Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk management activities.

✅ Manage endpoint security, firewalls, antivirus solutions, and access controls.

✅ Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.

Infrastructure Management (If Assigned)

✅ Manage servers, storage systems, networks, cloud environments, and IT infrastructure.

✅ Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity planning.

✅ Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.

✅ Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.

✅ Ensure infrastructure scalability and reliability.

Enterprise Applications / ERP Management (If Assigned)

✅ Manage and support ERP, CRM, HRMS, and other business applications.

✅ Coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.

✅ Work with users to improve business processes and system utilization.

✅ Ensure application performance, security, and user satisfaction.

✅ Support implementation of new enterprise software solutions.

Qualifications

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.

✔ Master's Degree is an advantage.

✔ Relevant professional certifications are preferred, such as:

CISSP
CEH
CISM
CCNA / CCNP
Microsoft Certifications
AWS / Azure Certifications
ITIL
PMP
Data Analytics Certifications

Experience Requirements

✔ Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Information Technology.

✔ Strong expertise in at least one of the following domains:

Data Analytics / AI
Cybersecurity
Infrastructure Management
Enterprise Applications / ERP Systems

✔ Experience managing enterprise IT environments and business-critical systems.

✔ Proven ability to lead projects and work across multiple departments.

✔ Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives is highly preferred.

What We Are Looking For

We are hiring one experienced IT professional who can serve as the Second-in-Command to the Head of IT and bring strong expertise in at least one or two of the following domains:
