Job Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff performance, and smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen teams. The role helps maintain operational standards, drive sales, and ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing overall restaurant operations and daily service activities.
- Supervise front-of-house staff and ensure adherence to service standards.
- Support in staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure excellent guest service and handle customer complaints or escalations.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth order execution.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock control and ordering processes.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and company policies.
- Support implementation of SOPs and operational procedures.
- Assist in achieving sales targets and improving restaurant profitability.
- Monitor service quality and ensure consistency across shifts.
- Prepare daily reports on operations, sales, and staff performance for management review.
- Support promotional activities and guest engagement initiatives.

- Experience in high-volume restaurants or branded outlets is an advantage.
