Job Summary
The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all bar operations, including staff management, beverage service, inventory control, and profitability. The role ensures high-quality guest experiences, efficient operations, compliance with licensing laws, and achievement of revenue and cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall bar operations, including service quality, staffing, and customer experience.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule bar staff (bartenders, assistants, runners).
- Develop and update beverage menus, cocktails, and promotional offerings.
- Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Oversee inventory management, stock ordering, and supplier coordination.
- Control beverage costs, minimize wastage, and improve profitability.
- Ensure proper cash handling, billing accuracy, and POS system operations.
- Maintain compliance with alcohol licensing laws, health, and safety regulations.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Plan and execute bar promotions, events, and special nights to drive sales.
- Monitor daily sales, prepare reports, and analyze performance metrics.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of bar equipment and areas.
- Coordinate with restaurant and kitchen teams for smooth service operations.

- Experience in high-volume or premium bar environments is preferred.
