Job Summary
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, excellent guest experiences, and efficient coordination between service staff, kitchen, and bar teams. The role focuses on maintaining service standards, managing floor staff, and resolving guest issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all front-of-house operations during assigned shifts.
- Ensure smooth coordination between servers, hosts, runners, and kitchen/bar teams.
- Monitor guest service standards and ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle feedback.
- Resolve guest complaints and service issues professionally and quickly.
- Oversee table management, seating arrangements, and guest flow.
- Monitor staff performance, discipline, grooming, and adherence to SOPs.
- Assist in staff scheduling, shift planning, and duty allocation.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures of the restaurant floor.
- Monitor cleanliness, ambiance, and presentation of dining areas.
- Support cash handling, billing accuracy, and POS system operations.
- Coordinate with management regarding operational issues and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring front-of-house staff.
