Senior Accountant (Filipino Female – Real Estate Leasing Experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Filipino Female) with strong expertise in real estate leasing operations. The ideal candidate will manage financial accounting, lease accounting, rental income tracking, and ensure accurate financial reporting while maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Oversee lease accounting processes, including rental income recognition, lease agreements tracking, and tenant billing.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor property-related income and expenses, ensuring accurate allocation and reporting.
- Reconcile bank accounts, tenant accounts, and property management accounts.
- Maintain and update lease contracts, rental schedules, and tenancy records.
- Coordinate with property management and leasing teams to ensure accurate financial data.
- Prepare VAT reports and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations (if applicable).
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for real estate portfolios.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on tenant payments.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies.
- Improve accounting processes and maintain strong internal controls.
Requirements
- Must be a Filipino Female (as per job requirement).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property management, or leasing sector.
- Strong knowledge of lease accounting and rental revenue recognition.
- Familiarity with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple properties/accounts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
