Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and technology-focused AI Systems & Vendor Management Specialist to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of AI systems while managing relationships with external AI technology vendors and service providers. The ideal candidate will ensure AI solutions meet business requirements, monitor vendor performance, manage contracts, and support the successful delivery of AI initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of AI systems and platforms.
- Evaluate business requirements and recommend AI solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure successful implementation and integration of AI technologies.
- Monitor vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs), contracts, and project milestones.
- Assist in vendor selection, due diligence, contract negotiations, and procurement processes.
- Track AI system performance, usage, and return on investment (ROI), and recommend improvements.
- Ensure AI systems comply with organizational policies, security standards, data privacy regulations, and governance requirements.
- Manage software licenses, renewals, upgrades, and vendor documentation.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to AI systems, third-party services, and vendor dependencies.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on AI initiatives, vendor performance, and project status for management.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, procurement, legal, and business teams to support AI-related projects.
- Stay informed about emerging AI technologies, market trends, and vendor offerings to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT systems management, AI technologies, vendor management, procurement, or technology project management.
- Understanding of AI, machine learning, automation, and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience managing technology vendors, contracts, and service delivery.
- Familiarity with software licensing, procurement processes, and vendor governance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of AI governance, cybersecurity, and data privacy regulations.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience supporting enterprise AI or digital transformation initiatives.
