Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Job Summary
The Chartered Accountant (CA) is responsible for managing the organization's financial reporting, accounting operations, taxation, auditing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. The role provides financial insights to support strategic decision-making, ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax laws, and maintains the integrity of the company's financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other statutory filings.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Manage internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.
- Support management with financial planning, business strategy, and investment analysis.
- Ensure timely preparation of management reports and key financial performance indicators.
- Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff where applicable.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized professional accounting body.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant post-qualification experience (or as required by the organization).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, auditing, and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or QuickBooks).
