Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and ensure that dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, sinks, and work areas clean and organized.
- Ensure clean dishes and utensils are stored properly.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and housekeeping tasks when required.
- Dispose of kitchen waste according to company procedures.
- Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Inform the supervisor about damaged equipment, shortages, or maintenance issues.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and food hygiene guidelines.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen helper is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move kitchen items safely.
- Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays when required.
