📋 JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Caregivers to provide person-centred support to residents in retirement and nursing home facilities in Quebec.
Caregivers will work under the supervision of the facility's nursing and management teams to support residents' daily routines, safety, comfort, and overall quality of life.
👩⚕️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Assist residents with daily routines and activities.
- Support residents with personal care as required.
- Assist with mobility and general movement.
- Promote residents' comfort, dignity and independence.
- Provide medication reminders according to prescribed instructions and facility procedures.
- Observe residents and report changes in their physical, emotional,l or cognitive condition.
- Encourage participation in social, recreational and therapeutic activities.
- Follow individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with nursing and care teams.
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for residents.
- Follow facility policies, procedures, es and health and safety requirements.
✅ REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of relevant caregiver experience.
- Experience in a hospital, nursing home, retirement home or similar care environment.
- Experience caring for elderly or dependent residents is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and responsible.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a professional care environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Quebec, Canada.
