Planning Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for construction and contracting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Prepare baseline schedules and project execution plans.
- Monitor project progress and compare actual performance with planned targets.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Identify delays, schedule risks, and critical activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Assist in developing recovery and mitigation plans for delayed activities.
- Track project milestones and key deliverables.
- Maintain accurate planning and scheduling records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Relevant experience in construction or contracting projects.
- Good knowledge of project planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in relevant planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
