Job Summary
We are seeking Yard Representatives to support transport operations and business development. The role involves field visits, client relationship management, and coordination of truck movements.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit transport yards and client sites regularly.
- Manage existing client relationships and acquire new clients.
- Monitor market opportunities, transport pricing, and industry trends.
- Oversee trucks during loading and unloading operations.
- Coordinate with operations teams, drivers, and clients to resolve delays.
- Report vehicle breakdowns and operational disruptions promptly.
- Document site visits, truck movements, and observations.
- Submit periodic reports to improve operational and sales efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience in transport and logistics, preferably transport yards and truck operations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to perform fieldwork and handle operational challenges.
- Proficiency in English.
- A valid driving license.
