Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Truck Spare Parts Storekeeper to manage warehouse activities, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure timely availability of spare parts. Previous experience in a truck spare parts warehouse is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect spare parts against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Identify, classify, label, and store parts using correct part numbers.
- Issue spare parts against approved requests and accurately record stock movements.
- Maintain organized storage locations for easy identification and retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement.
- Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and prepare inventory reports.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to fulfill spare parts requirements.
- Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems and computer applications.
- Report damaged, incorrect, obsolete, or slow-moving stock.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safe storage practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in truck spare parts warehouses is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of truck spare parts, part numbers, and classifications.
- Experience in receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing spare parts.
- Proficiency in inventory control, stocktaking, and reporting.
- Proficiency in computer applications and warehouse management systems.
- Good command of English.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with maintenance and procurement teams.
