About the Role
As Black Fortune continues to expand across Bahrain, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive performance, manage staff, and uphold brand standards across our fashion and lifestyle stores.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
- Support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations
- Ensure store cleanliness, display standards, and visual merchandising are maintained
- Monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, and prevent shortages
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and safety guidelines
Team Support & Leadership
- Supervise staff and assist in training new team members
- Help prepare staff schedules and manage attendance
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity
- Lead the team during peak hours, in the absence of the Store Manager
Customer Service Excellence
- Provide outstanding customer service at all times
- Handle escalated customer issues professionally
- Promote loyalty programs, offers, and seasonal campaigns
- Ensure customers have a smooth and engaging shopping experience
Sales & Performance
- Assist in achieving the store’s sales goals and KPIs
- Monitor daily sales performance and suggest improvements
- Support visual merchandising and product placement strategies
- Help maintain accurate cash handling and POS operations
Reporting & Administration
- Assist in preparing daily/weekly sales reports
- Handle store documentation and operational checklists
- Coordinate with Store Manager on performance updates and store needs
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years experience in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role
- Fashion/lifestyle retail experience preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Knowledge of POS, stock management, and visual merchandising
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude with a passion for retail and team development
