About the Role
As Black Fortune expands across Bahrain, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the in-store customer experience across our fashion and lifestyle brands. You will be responsible for designing and implementing visual displays that reflect brand identity, increase sales, and attract customer attention.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Execution
- Plan, design, and execute window and in-store displays
- Ensure mannequins are dressed and styled according to brand trends
- Maintain visual standards across all display zones (floor, walls, windows)
- Update store layouts based on new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal themes
Store Coordination
- Work closely with Store Managers and Area Visual teams
- Provide store teams with clear guidelines for maintaining displays
- Train staff on basic VM standards and replenishment presentation
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure consistent brand presentation
Stock & Display Management
- Ensure the availability of stock for display purposes
- Coordinate with stockroom teams for product rotation
- Maintain VM tools, fixtures, and props in good condition
Brand & Trend Awareness
- Stay updated on fashion trends and competitor visual strategies
- Assist in planning seasonal themes and new collection launches
- Support marketing campaigns with attractive visual setups
Performance Monitoring
- Monitor customer reactions to displays and suggest improvements
- Track the performance of promoted items and visual campaigns
- Prepare basic reports on VM activities and execution status
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser (fashion retail preferred)
- Strong sense of fashion, color coordination, and styling
- Creativity with a good eye for detail
- Ability to sketch layouts or use basic design tools (optional)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit to handle display setups (lifting, arranging, climbing ladders)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, or store changeovers
