Physiotherapist
Job Title: Physiotherapist - Abu Dhabi

Reports To: Head of Rehabilitation Services
Job Overview:
A Physiotherapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitation programs to improve patients' physical mobility, relieve pain, and restore function following illness, injury, or surgery. They work with patients of all ages to promote movement, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical conditions, movement, and function.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, TENS, heat/cold therapy).
- Guide patients through exercises and movements to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and ergonomics.
- Use specialized equipment for gait training, hydrotherapy, or electrotherapy.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with DHA/DoH regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices in physiotherapy.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
- Valid DHA/DoH/HAAD license to practice as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with specialization (e.g., sports, neuro, pediatrics) being an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and physical stamina.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is beneficial.
