Detailed Job Description:
We are looking for qualified Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and related equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. A strong commitment to safety and electrical codes is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install conduits, wires, and cables to provide power to lighting, industrial equipment, and control systems.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical panels, switchboards, distribution boards, and circuit breakers.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing devices (multimeters, voltage testers) and repair or replace faulty components.
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment for potential hazards, defects, and compliance with local electrical codes.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and reliably.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Collaborate with construction managers, engineers, and other tradespeople.
- Adhere rigorously to the National Electrical Code (or relevant EU standards) and all safety regulations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Certified Electrician qualification or completed apprenticeship program.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation and repair.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, grounding, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in reading technical documents and schematic drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent physical condition and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
