Detailed Job Description:
We need skilled Plumbers/Pipe Fitters to assemble, install, and repair pipelines and plumbing systems that carry water, steam, air, or other liquids/gases. This role is crucial for construction projects and industrial maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes (copper, PVC, CPVC, steel) using saws, pipe cutters, threaders, and benders.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers), water heaters, and associated valves and fittings.
- Install and maintain industrial piping systems for heating, cooling, hydraulics, or manufacturing processes.
- Inspect and test installed systems for leaks and proper pressure using pressure gauges and other tools.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in plumbing and piping systems, performing effective repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to plan and execute projects efficiently.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Plumber or Pipe Fitter (minimum 3 years).
- Knowledge of pipe systems, supports, and the required calculations for planned installations.
- Ability to work with various pipe materials and connection methods (soldering, welding, threading, gluing).
- Understanding of water distribution, drainage systems, and relevant codes.
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy pipes and work in tight spaces.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
