BARTENDERS & BARISTAS
Location: Malta (Hotels, Bars, Cafés, Beach Clubs)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Overview:
We are hiring creative and skilled Bartenders and Baristas to deliver high-quality beverages and excellent customer service in vibrant venues across Malta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bartender:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including classic cocktails and signature creations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station.
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
- Interact with guests, provide recommendations, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Process cash and card transactions.
- Monitor inventory, place orders for supplies, and control waste.
- Adhere to all licensing laws and health & safety regulations.
- Barista:
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based coffee (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.) and other hot/cold beverages.
- Operate and maintain coffee machinery (grinder, espresso machine) to the highest standard.
- Ensure excellent milk texturing and latte art skills.
- Have knowledge of different coffee beans, grinds, and brewing methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station and dining area.
- Handle cashier duties and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Assist with basic food preparation (pastries, sandwiches) as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bartender or Barista.
- For Bartenders: Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverages.
- For Baristas: Proficiency in espresso preparation and latte art.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during peak hours.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- High standards of personal hygiene and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
