HOUSEKEEPING
Location: Malta (Hotels, Tourist Apartments, Resorts)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Overview:
We are seeking diligent, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeping staff to ensure our accommodations are impeccably clean, tidy, and welcoming for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms, apartments, and public areas (lounges, corridors) to the highest standard.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities.
- For Apartments: May include cleaning kitchens and washing dishes.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms thoroughly.
- Replenish mini-bars and tea/coffee facilities as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost items to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests politely and promptly (e.g., for extra towels or pillows).
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and trolleys are maintained and stored correctly.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet room turnover targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not always essential (training may be provided).
- A strong eye for detail and a pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Honesty, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good time-management skills.
- Basic understanding of English for following instructions and simple guest interaction.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
