Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage Associate is a key ambassador for the hotel’s dining outlets, responsible for delivering impeccable and memorable service to our guests. This role requires a professional with a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The associate will ensure that all service standards are met or exceeded, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and outlet profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service:
- Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to all guests from arrival to departure.
- Have thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings to make recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen/bar, and serve them promptly and correctly.
- Anticipate guest needs and handle any requests or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Service Operations:
- Perform opening and closing duties as per standard operating procedures.
- Set up and maintain dining areas, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and properly arranged.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols (HACCP) meticulously.
- Teamwork & Standards:
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, adhering to the hotel’s grooming standards.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels and inventory of service items.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a server or F&B associate in a reputable hotel, restaurant, or lounge.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a pleasant, guest-oriented personality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
