- Make critical technology decisions regarding serialization & messaging frameworks (e.g., Avro vs. Protobuf, Kafka vs. RabbitMQ) to meet business and technical goals.
- Design and oversee the implementation of cloud-native solutions on major platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), optimizing for cost and performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers and development teams, establishing best practices and architectural guardrails.
- Architect data persistence strategies, ensuring optimal use of PostgreSQL and MongoDB and other data stores within the ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of professional software development experience, with at least 8 years in a dedicated architecture role.
- Mastery in designing large-scale, distributed architectures and systems.
- Deep, foundational expertise in data serialization, deserialization, and messaging paradigms (synchronous/asynchronous, event-driven).
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting and deploying complex solutions on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven leadership experience in guiding technical teams and making enterprise-level technology decisions.
- Expert-level knowledge of database architecture, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, for diverse use cases.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
