HR Manager (E-commerce, Warehouse & Logistics Focus)

Work Schedule: 6 days a week
Salary Range: Up to AED 12,000 per month (all-inclusive, commensurate with experience)

About the Role:
We are a dynamic and growing company in the e-commerce sector, seeking a hands-on and pragmatic HR Manager. This role is critical in supporting our core operations teams – warehouse, logistics, and fulfillment – as well as our corporate e-commerce staff. You will be the go-to HR professional, building systems from the ground up, managing the employee lifecycle, and fostering a productive, compliant, and positive work environment. We are looking for a doer, not just a strategist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar (warehouse, drivers, pickers/packers) and white-collar (e-commerce executives, logistics coordinators, junior management) roles. Develop efficient onboarding programs to integrate new hires quickly.
- HR Operations & Administration: Maintain and update employee records, manage attendance and leave for a 6-day work schedule, and oversee all visa, labor card, and medical insurance processes.
- Performance Management: Assist line managers in implementing practical performance review systems, setting KPIs relevant to operations, and managing corrective actions.
- Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances. Foster strong communication between operations staff and management. Handle disciplinary matters in line with UAE labor law.
- Policies & Compliance: Develop, implement, and communicate clear HR policies. Ensure 100% compliance with UAE Federal and Dubai-specific labor regulations. Manage internal audits and documentation.
- Payroll Support: Work closely with finance to provide accurate inputs for payroll processing, including overtime, attendance, and deductions.
- Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate practical training sessions (e.g., safety in the warehouse, system use, customer service).
Required Background & Skills:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of generalist HR experience, with at least 2 years specifically supporting warehouse, logistics, transportation, or e-commerce operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- UAE Knowledge: Non-negotiable working knowledge of UAE Labor Law, visa processes, and WPS payroll.
- Recruitment Prowess: Demonstrated ability to recruit at all levels, particularly for high-volume operational roles.
- Language: Fluency in English is essential. Hindi/Urdu/Arabic/Tagalog is a significant advantage for communicating with a diverse workforce.
- Mindset: Resilient, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment. Comfortable working on-site in a warehouse/office setting.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite. Experience with HRMS or payroll software is a plus.
