Position Summary
The Outdoor Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets within the assigned territory. The role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of the building materials market in Dubai, who can identify new business opportunities and provide solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Actively prospect for new clients (contractors, fit-out companies, developers, consultants, trading firms).
- Present, promote, and sell the company’s range of building materials products using solid arguments.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet profitability goals.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct regular field visits to existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Resolve any client issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate client needs.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and market trends.
- Provide feedback from the field to management on product performance, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
- Strategize with the sales team to develop effective plans for the territory.
- Administration & Reporting:
- Submit daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly sales reports.
- Manage the sales pipeline and update the CRM system regularly.
- Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, technical support, accounts) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of proven experience as an Outdoor Sales Executive, preferably in the building materials, construction chemicals, hardware, or related industries in the UAE.
- Must have a valid UAE driving license.
- Knowledge:
- Strong technical understanding of building materials products (e.g., tiles, sanitaryware, adhesives, steel, MEP products, hardware, etc.).
- Familiarity with the Dubai construction market, key players, and projects.
- Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong prospecting and sales planning abilities.
- Self-motivated, persistent, and target-driven with a proven track record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and experience with CRM software.
- Personal Attributes:
- Resilient and able to work under pressure.
- Presentable, professional, and client-focused.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a significant advantage.
