Project Manager
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Sector: Water & Wastewater Infrastructure
Job Purpose:
To lead and direct the overall project team to ensure the successful delivery of the water and wastewater infrastructure project. This role holds ultimate responsibility for meeting project objectives related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The Project Manager acts as the primary point of contact for the client and oversees all phases from mobilization to handover .
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans, integrating scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and risk management. Lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture .
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison with the client (e.g., National Water Company, municipal authorities) and key stakeholders. Manage communications, secure approvals, and ensure alignment with project goals and local regulations .
- Technical Oversight: Oversee all engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities, including earthworks, roadworks, pumping stations, steel tanks, and pipeline installation (steel, HDPE, GRP). Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and method statements .
- Commercial & Financial Control: Monitor project costs, cash flow, and variations. Prepare and present regular progress reports, cost reports, and forecasts to senior management and the client .
- Safety & Quality: Enforce stringent HSE standards and implement QA/QC procedures across all phases of the project to ensure compliance with contract documents and international standards .
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred .
- Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory .
- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of total experience, with at least 5+ years as a Project Manager successfully delivering large-scale water/wastewater infrastructure projects .
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. Deep knowledge of Saudi codes, NWC specifications, and international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, AASHTO) .
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
