Civil Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead the structural design and analysis for complex building and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete and steel structure design, ensuring all work complies with local and international codes (e.g., ADM, DMAT, ACI, BS, Eurocodes).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural design process from concept to detailed design, ensuring technical accuracy and constructability.
- Perform complex structural analysis and calculations for high-rise buildings, bridges, or industrial structures using software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and design calculations prepared by junior engineers or draftsmen.
- Coordinate extensively with MEP, Architectural, and other Civil disciplines to resolve design clashes and ensure integration.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities (like Abu Dhabi Municipality) to obtain design approvals and NOCs.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building projects.
- Certification: Professional Engineering license (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly preferred. Proficiency in structural analysis software is mandatory.
- Availability: Must be currently residing in Abu Dhabi and available for immediate interview/joining.
