We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within our operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of safety standards, particularly within the Gas Industry, and a proactive approach to risk management and incident prevention.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
- Identify hazards and perform risk assessments
- Monitor gas industry operations to ensure safe working practices
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training sessions
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports
- Maintain HSE documentation and records
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment
- Coordinate emergency response drills and preparedness activities
- Liaise with management and regulatory authorities when required
- Promote a strong safety culture across all departments
🔹 Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE roles
- At least 2 years of experience in the Gas Industry (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Strong observational and problem-solving abilities
🔹 Preferred Skills:
- Experience in ADNOC or similar gas sector projects
- Additional safety certifications (IOSH, OSHA, etc.)
- Ability to lead safety initiatives independently
