The Store In-Charge will be responsible for managing the overall store and warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, proper documentation, and smooth coordination with procurement, logistics, and project teams. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate stock levels to support operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials
Operations Management
- Supervise warehouse/store staff and allocate daily tasks
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material requirements
- Implement and maintain store procedures and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain ERP/system records for inventory transactions
- Prepare inventory reports, stock valuation, and usage analysis
- Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock items
- Support internal and external audits
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in store or warehouse management
- Experience in marine, engineering, or technical industries preferred
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management systems
- Good command of English
