We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and build a strong foundation in a professional kitchen environment.
🔪 Key Responsibilities
• Food Preparation (Mise en Place): Washing, peeling, chopping, slicing fruits and vegetables; measuring and mixing ingredients; preparing basic sauces, salads, and garnishes
• Cooking Support: Prepare dishes according to standard recipes and assist with cooking on grills, ovens, and stoves
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a spotless workstation, clean equipment, and strictly follow food safety (HACCP) and personal hygiene standards
• Stock & Inventory: Receive deliveries, rotate stock (FIFO), control food costs, and minimize waste
• Station Management: Set up and break down assigned station, ensuring all tools and supplies are ready for service
• Teamwork: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors, learn new techniques, and support overall kitchen operations
💰 Salary
AED 3,500 per month
