Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer specializing in Plumbing and HVAC systems to oversee mechanical works across residential and commercial development projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site mechanical activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and approved timelines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, stormwater, and firefighting systems
- Oversee HVAC ducting installation, insulation, and testing & commissioning processes
- Review and approve mechanical shop drawings and coordinate with structural and electrical teams
- Ensure mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and local codes
- Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, and material usage
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Identify potential risks and provide technical solutions to avoid delays
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and final handover procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in plumbing and HVAC systems within large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical standards and regulations
- Experience in site supervision and subcontractor management
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
- Valid Iqama and driving license
- Maximum age: 30 years
