The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and coordinating construction and infrastructure projects. The role requires technical expertise, regulatory compliance knowledge, and strong site coordination capabilities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
- Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and material testing analysis
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and architectural teams
Project Supervision
- Supervise construction activities and monitor site progress
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and standards
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control
- Monitor contractor performance and compliance
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to local authority regulations and safety standards
- Prepare technical reports, BOQs, and project documentation
- Attend client and consultant meetings
- Assist in project approvals and authority submissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong knowledge of construction codes and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or related software
- Excellent English communication skills
