Job Purpose
The Safety Engineer is responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies across project sites, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and minimizing workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Implementation
- Develop and enforce HSE plans and safety procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis
- Monitor site safety compliance
Inspections & Audits
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
- Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks
- Promote safety awareness culture among workers
- Ensure proper use of PPE
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Safety-related field
- NEBOSH or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations
- Fluent in English
