Role Overview
Responsible for complete electrical design of PV systems ensuring compliance with UAE grid standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare SLDs, layout drawings, cable sizing, and protection schemes.
- Perform load flow analysis and short-circuit calculations.
- Conduct energy yield simulations using PVsyst.
- Coordinate authority approvals for design submissions.
✅ Requirements:
➡️ Proven experience in utility-scale Solar PV Power Plant projects (mandatory)
➡️ Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience (more for managerial roles)
➡️ Previous UAE / GCC experience is mandatory
➡️ Strong knowledge of EPC project execution and site coordination
➡️ Familiarity with DEWA / ADDC / TRANSCO is an advantage
➡️ Experience in grid connection, substations, or HV systems (for electrical roles)
➡️ Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and inspection processes
➡️ Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and compliance standards
➡️ Valid UAE driving license (required for site-based roles)
➡️ Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
