Job Summary:
The Homecare Nurse provides personalized nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring high standards of health, comfort, and safety. This role involves administering treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and coordinating with physicians and family members to deliver effective healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients at home, including administering medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, health conditions, and progress, and report any changes to the physician
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with healthcare providers
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Educate patients and family members on health management, medication, and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and care provided
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or necessary interventions
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and healthcare standards
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Valid UAE Nursing License or eligibility to practice in the UAE
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in homecare, hospital, or clinical settings
- Knowledge of patient care, medication administration, and healthcare protocols
- Ability to work independently and manage patient care effectively
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
