Job Title: QA/QC Engineer (Fresher)
Job Summary:
The QA/QC Engineer (Fresher) assists in ensuring that materials, processes, and finished work meet required quality standards and project specifications. The role involves learning quality control procedures, supporting inspections, and maintaining documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in quality inspections of materials, workmanship, and finished work.
- Support preparation and implementation of QA/QC procedures and checklists.
- Help in conducting site inspections and reporting non-conformities.
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in testing materials as per project requirements and standards.
- Support preparation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors for quality compliance.
- Learn and follow ISO standards and project quality requirements.
- Assist in identifying defects and reporting them to senior QA/QC engineers.
- Participate in internal quality audits and site inspections.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Freshers or 0–1 year of experience in quality control or site engineering.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and construction methods.
- Willingness to learn QA/QC processes and standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Good analytical and observation skills.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 or quality systems (advantage).
- Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
