Job Summary:
An Accounts Officer is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting transactions, and supporting the organization’s financial operations. The role involves maintaining ledgers, preparing reports, handling payments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Process payroll and employee reimbursements
- Ensure timely payment of bills, taxes, and other financial obligations
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies
- Support senior accountants and finance managers as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
