Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Painting Supervisor to oversee painting and finishing works on-site. The role involves supervising painters, ensuring high-quality finishes, and making sure all work is completed according to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all painting and finishing activities
- Assign tasks to painters and ensure efficient workflow
- Inspect surfaces and ensure proper surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, priming)
- Ensure correct application of paints, coatings, and finishes
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and color schedules
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with standards
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and other trades
- Maintain material usage and minimize wastage
- Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials
- Enforce safety procedures and proper use of PPE
- Prepare daily progress reports and address site issues
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Painting, Civil, or related field
- Proven experience as a Painting Supervisor or Senior Painter
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
