Role Overview
An Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily business activities, improving efficiency, and ensuring that organizational processes run smoothly. They bridge strategy and execution, making sure company goals are achieved through effective operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize day-to-day operations across departments
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) and improve productivity
- Ensure quality control and compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with other departments (HR, Finance, Sales, etc.)
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions
- Handle vendor management and supply chain coordination
- Lead, train, and supervise operational staff
- Resolve operational issues and escalate when necessary
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
- Proven experience in operations or a similar managerial role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good understanding of budgeting and financial principles
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, or CRM platforms
- Strong communication and organizational skills
