📝 JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring experienced Tractor Operators with vineyard and winery experience for a professional agricultural company in Cyprus. The selected candidates will be responsible for operating tractors and supporting vineyard and winery activities throughout the farming and harvest seasons.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate vineyard tractors in narrow planted rows
• Perform tight turns and reverse maneuvers with trailers, sprayers, and trolleys
• Operate agricultural machinery such as sprayers, mowers, and trailers
• Connect and disconnect tractor attachments and implements
• Perform basic maintenance and daily equipment checks
• Support grape harvesting and transportation activities
• Assist with pruning, plowing, trellising, and vineyard maintenance work
• Support winery production, including grape sorting, crushing, bottling, and packaging
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the winery and storage areas
• Follow safety procedures and agricultural work standards at all times
🎯 Requirements:
✔ Minimum 3+ years of tractor operating experience in agricultural or planted fields
✔ Vineyard or winery experience preferred
✔ Good English communication skills – Mandatory
✔ Forklift or mini excavator experience is an advantage
✔ Physically fit for lifting tasks and long working hours during harvest season
✔ Hardworking, disciplined, and organized personality
✔ Willing to work early mornings, overtime, and occasional night shifts during peak harvest periods
🕒 Working Details:
• 6 Working Days per Week
• Sunday Off
• Standard Duty: 8 Hours Daily
• Harvest Season (Aug–Sep): Up to 12 Hours + Occasional Night Shift
• Two 15-Minute Breaks + 30-Minute Lunch Break
📄 Contract Details:
• Initial 6-Month Trial Period
• 1-Year Renewable Contract
