Job Summary
The Marketing Intern supports the marketing team in executing campaigns, conducting market research, creating content, managing social media activities, and assisting with promotional initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing while helping the organization achieve its branding and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, and reports.
- Help coordinate events, exhibitions, and product launches.
Content Creation
- Create and edit content for social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Assist in designing basic graphics, videos, and promotional content.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Social Media Management
- Schedule and publish social media posts across various platforms.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments or messages as directed.
- Track social media performance and prepare reports.
Market Research
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences.
- Collect and analyze marketing data to identify opportunities and insights.
- Assist in preparing market analysis reports.
Digital Marketing Support
- Support email marketing campaigns and database management.
- Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) and website content updates.
- Monitor digital advertising campaigns and performance metrics.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain marketing files, databases, and campaign documentation.
- Assist with meeting coordination and project tracking.
- Perform other marketing-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools is an advantage.
