Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Site Supervisor to support the planning, coordination, and supervision of day-to-day site operations. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Supervisor or Project Manager in overseeing daily construction activities.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed according to project plans and timelines.
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure productivity and quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate the delivery and proper use of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain daily site reports, work progress records, and attendance logs.
- Identify and report site issues, delays, or safety concerns to senior management.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Support quality control inspections and help resolve construction-related issues.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, suppliers, and other project stakeholders as required.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment by enforcing health and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in construction site supervision (fresh graduates with relevant internships may apply).
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or project management software is an advantage.
