Job Description: Business Development Executive
Job Summary
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role focuses on expanding the company’s market presence through strategic sales efforts, partnerships, and customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and industry trends.
- Present company products/services to prospective clients and conduct business meetings.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to ensure smooth onboarding of clients.
- Follow up on leads and maintain an updated sales pipeline.
- Attend meetings, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Experience in B2B or B2C sales depending on industry.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and negotiation techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
