Job Title: Office Boy cum Cleaner
Job Description:
An Office Boy cum Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of office premises while providing general office support services. The role includes cleaning workspaces, serving refreshments, handling basic administrative errands, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain offices, workstations, meeting rooms, reception areas, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize office premises on a daily basis.
- Dispose of waste and ensure proper segregation and timely removal of garbage.
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to staff and visitors.
- Refill pantry supplies and ensure cleanliness of pantry and dining areas.
- Assist with photocopying, filing, document distribution, and other basic office support tasks.
- Deliver and collect documents, parcels, and office supplies as required.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning materials, pantry items, and other office supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, equipment faults, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in setting up meeting rooms for conferences, training sessions, and events.
- Ensure office furniture, fixtures, and equipment are kept clean and organized.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school certificate or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in office cleaning, housekeeping, or office support is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and workplace hygiene practices.
- Ability to read and communicate basic instructions in English or the local language.
