Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support clinical operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' health conditions.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and medical emergencies.
- Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in patient condition.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and provide first aid or life support when required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, B.Sc. Nursing, or GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license/registration with the relevant nursing council.
- 1–5 years of clinical nursing experience (fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level positions).
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
