Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage and facilitate all company interactions with UAE government authorities. The ideal candidate will be deeply familiar with immigration, labor laws, and regulatory procedures, ensuring seamless and efficient operations. This role is critical for maintaining our compliance and reputation, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the industrial sector, particularly within Abu Dhabi Ports - KIZAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Government Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for all government departments and ministries (e.g., Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation, Immigration, Economic Department, Chamber of Commerce, etc.).
- PRO Processing: Efficiently process and renew all company documents, including trade licenses, visas (employment, renewal, cancellation), labor cards, and Emirates IDs.
- Immigration & Labor Law Compliance: Maintain an up-to-date and practical knowledge of UAE labor laws and immigration procedures to ensure full company compliance.
- Portal Management: Proficiently handle all transactions through relevant government portals (e.g., TAMM, MoHRE, ICA, etc.).
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Manage, organize, and maintain all PRO-related documents and employee files with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between management and government entities, effectively communicating in both Arabic and English.
- Time Management: Prioritize and manage multiple PRO tasks and deadlines effectively to avoid any business disruptions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a PRO in the UAE. Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector, especially within Abu Dhabi Ports - KIZAD, is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and extensive experience using UAE government e-portals.
- Legal Knowledge: Strong, practical knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and general government regulations.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English are essential.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- License: A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
