Hostess
Basic Salary: SAR 4,000 + Accommodation
Job Overview:
The Hostess is the first and last point of contact for guests, creating the critical first impression of the restaurant. This role is responsible for managing the reception area, greeting guests, and coordinating seating to ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor upon arrival and departure.
- Manage the reservation system, taking new bookings, confirming reservations, and noting special requests.
- Manage the seating chart and table rotation to ensure even workload for service staff and efficient guest flow.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of their server's name.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
- Manage the waiting list during busy periods, providing accurate wait times and updating guests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and lobby area.
- Coordinate with the service and management team regarding VIP arrivals, large parties, or special events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- A calm and graceful demeanor, especially during busy periods.
- Proficiency with reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
